The main requirement are identical propellant runs cross a wide range of Kn's.

For Alan's testing sessions the requirements are four 38mm reload sets of Qty two of 2" long grains with 1/2" cores. He provides the motor and nozzles. The collected propellants are run occasionally and preferably you help. You get back the thrust and pressure curves and your a an n numbers as well as a curve fit.

For Mike's method the ARTS gathers all data but pressure - so a two grain 38mm motor isn't strictly required - just four identical flights with only the Kn being different..

I plan on leveraging both for each propellant. Grains to Alan and Arts flight.

I'm planning on making the data gathering flights generally at our Bayboro, NC field. It's a huge field - but almost always very windy. So I'll also use 2 grain 38mm motors (2x2x0.5 grains same as for Alan) for consistency and also fairly quick turnaround to get in 4 flights for the day.

I haven't "filthied-up" my lathe yet so I'm ordering nozzles from Loki, metal from onlinemetals.com, thrust and nozzle rings and hardware from McMaster
